Workshop Description

MuseScore is a free, open-source notation program that provides an ideal solution for teachers, students, songwriters, composers and arrangers that may not be able to afford professional programs such as Sibelius or Finale. Presented by Katie Wardorbe, this all-day course will cover the basics of creating and sharing scores with MuseScore. We’ll also take a look at MuseScore’s dedicated score-sharing site and discover how to synch your score to any Youtube video.
Katie is the creator of the MuseScoreTips tutorial site and the author of the ebook MuseScore: The Essential Beginner’s Guide. Katie runs professional development sessions and workshops throughout Australia and regularly presents at conference and events.
