iPads: Perform, Create, Learn

As iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches (collectively “iDevices”) become more commonplace, educators around the world are discovering their usefulness in the general music classroom and music teaching studio.
iDevices allow anywhere-access to a range of fantastic tools and resources that can transform practise sessions, inspire budding composers, and aid productivity.
During this session, we’ll get hands-on with iDevices and explore ways you can integrate mobile devices with your curriculum:
  • play in an iBand
  • create a sound-set and record your own original percussive composition
  • record yourself in 4-part harmony
  • analyse and annotate scores
  • compose and arrange music
  • research a music history project
  • improve your aural skills
  • discover games to aid music literacy
  • manage student work
  • enhance your productivity
Participants will need to bring along their own iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
