Katie Wardrobe has been an arranger, transcriber and copyist for more than 20 years. She was the chief arranger for a cappella groups Les Ms and Vocalese and has also arranged music for a number of larger choirs.
Katie particularly enjoys transcribing music from recordings (yes, really) and has transcribed vocal and instrumental works in a large variety of styles, including Indian and Aboriginal music for publication by Earthsongs and a series of children’s compositions for a study by Professor Margaret Barrett (Head of School of Music, University of Queensland).
Copying and typesetting clients have included: Hal Leonard, Warner Chappell, Boosey & Hawkes, Melba Recordings, Orchestra Victoria, Victorian Opera and composers including Jonathan Mills, Brett Dean, David Chisholm
Katie is a member of the Music Arranger’s Guild of Australia.
